Sea moss is a mineral-rich red seaweed that grows along the Atlantic coast. It’s considered one of the most nutrient-dense whole foods on the planet, naturally containing all 16 essential minerals your body runs on plus dozens of additional trace elements that support overall balance and resilience.
Unlike isolated supplements, sea moss offers these minerals in a whole-food matrix, meaning they’re highly bioavailable and easy for your body to absorb. People use sea moss daily for gut health, skin health, natural energy, immune support, and mineral replenishment. It’s a simple, clean way to add powerful ocean nutrition to everyday life.
We source our sea moss from the coastal waters of Indonesia, one of the world’s leading seaweed-producing regions. Indonesia is consistently ranked among the top seaweed producers globally, supplying roughly 25–30% of the world’s farmed seaweed and acting as a major hub for red seaweeds used in food and nutrition.
Because seaweed is such a core part of Indonesia’s “blue economy,” the industry has decades of experience, established supply chains, and strong export infrastructure. Seaweed farming and harvesting now stretch across much of the archipelago and support close to one million people, highlighting how developed and important this sector is.
For our products, we work with partners who focus on responsible harvesting, clean waters, and consistent quality, so you’re getting sea moss from a region that is both naturally ideal for seaweed and deeply experienced in producing it for the global food market.

Because our sea moss comes from trusted, highly monitored regions and is tested batch-by-batch, we’re able to ensure that the product we use in our gels is safe, clean, and consistently high quality. We then handle, blend, and package all sea moss in our food-safe San Francisco facility, following strict sanitation and quality-control procedures.

All of our products are made in our own dedicated production facility in San Francisco, CA. Our space is fully approved by the local Health Department and operates using HACCP-compatible food-safety procedures to ensure every batch is handled with care.
We prepare, blend, and package our gels in a premier commercial manufacturing building alongside other top Bay Area food brands. Our facility follows strict sanitation protocols, controlled processing environments, and documented quality-control steps from start to finish.
By producing everything in-house, we’re able to maintain complete oversight of ingredients, cleanliness, and consistency so you get a safe, clean-label product you can trust.
Sea moss gel must be kept refrigerated at all times. Once opened, we recommend using it within 2–3 weeks for the best freshness, texture, and nutritional quality.
If you’d like to extend its shelf life, you can also freeze the gel in small portions (like ice cube trays). Frozen sea moss gel will keep for up to 3 months and can be thawed as needed for smoothies or recipes.
Because we don’t use preservatives or fillers, proper cold storage is essential to maintain the purity and safety of the product.
Sea moss gel is incredibly versatile: you can add 1–2 tablespoons to smoothies, juices, teas, oatmeal, yogurt, soups, sauces, dressings, and even baked goods. It blends easily and has a neutral taste, making it simple to incorporate into your daily routine.
