Blood Sugar Friendly Spanish-Inspired Bone Broth Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice (white or brown)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ cup yellow onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¾ tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp Uncracked Pure Sea Moss Gel
- 2 cups bone broth
Steps
- In a medium saucepan or skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; Add garlic, onion, paprika, cumin, turmeric, and tomato paste; sauté 1 min until fragrant.
- Stir in dry rice. Cook 1–2 min to lightly toast, coating grains with oil and aromatics.
- Pour in bone broth and stir well. Bring to a light simmer.
- Stir in diced tomato and sea moss gel. Mix thoroughly — it will dissolve into the liquid, slightly thickening it and helping the broth cling to the rice.
- Cover and cook over low heat until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender (optional: use rice cooker)
- Remove from heat and fluff rice with a fork - enjoy steaming hot!
Why Add Sea Moss Gel?
- Bone broth: Provides natural collagen peptides, calcium, magnesium, and glycine for joint & gut health
- Sea moss gel: Adds soluble fiber (fucoidans), minerals (iodine, potassium), and subtle natural thickness for a moist, rich texture.
- Spices: Antioxidant + anti-inflammatory synergy
