Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2–3 bananas)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • ⅓ cup melted coconut oil or extra‑virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Pure Sea Moss Gel
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1¾ cups whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional but recommended)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup optional nuts, chocolate chips, or blueberries

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (165°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, eggs, maple syrup, oil, vanilla, and sea moss gel until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle in baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; whisk just until combined.
  4. Fold in whole wheat flour until no streaks remain (do not overmix!).
  5. Gently fold in any mix‑ins (nuts, chips, or berries).
  6. Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake 55–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to a rack.
